Privacy Policy
What you type into these tools stays in your browser. Two things sit outside it, and both are described below in plain terms rather than glossed over.
1. Who we are
Time Hub Express (time-hub-express.com) is operated by an individual based in Singapore. You can reach us at [email protected].
We do not ask you to create an account, and we never ask for your name, address or payment details.
2. The short version
Everything you enter — timers, saved cities, countdowns — is computed in your browser and stored only on your device. This site is supported by ads: when advertising is enabled, Google may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address, subject to your consent choices.
⚠️ That is not the same as “no data is collected”, and we will not tell you it is.Two things sit outside your device: our web host processes ordinary connection information, and — once advertising is switched on — Google will collect data subject to your consent choices. Both are below.
3. What stays on your device
Everything you enter into a tool is processed in your browser. Where a tool saves something so it is still there when you come back, it uses your browser’s local storage on that device:
- Your light or dark theme choice — set by the theme control.
- Display preferences: 12- or 24-hour clock, first day of the week, sound on or off, and volume.
- A running stopwatch and its lap times — /stopwatch.
- A running timer and its label — /timer.
- Pomodoro settings, the session in progress, and your completed-session history —/pomodoro.
- The places you have chosen on /timezone-converter.
Tools we add later may save more of the same kind of thing — a list of saved countdowns, or the cities you keep on a world clock. This page is updated when they do, as part of building the tool rather than afterwards.
You are in control of all of it. Clearing your browser’s site data for this site deletes every item above. Nothing is synchronised between devices, because nothing leaves the one you are using. Saved in this browser only. Clearing site data or switching devices will erase it.
4. What we do not do
- We do not have accounts, logins or profiles.
- We do not upload, transmit or store your inputs on any server.
- We do not sell, rent or share your information, because we do not hold any.
- We currently set no cookies at all — see the Cookie Policy.
- We do not embed third-party fonts, scripts, images or analytics.
★ You do not have to take our word for the last two. Every page is served with a Content Security Policy of default-src 'self'; connect-src 'self', which instructs your browser to refuse third-party code and third-party connections outright. You can confirm it yourself in your browser’s developer tools, under the response headers for any page on this site. A policy you can check beats a promise you cannot.
5. What our web host processes
The site is delivered by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic connection information — your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, which page you asked for, and when — in order to serve the site and to protect it from attack and abuse.
This is standard infrastructure logging. We do not use it to identify or profile you, and we do not query or retain those logs ourselves. What Cloudflare does with them, and for how long, is governed byCloudflare’s own privacy policy.
6. Advertising — what will change, stated in advance
This site does not currently show ads, and no advertising or consent code is served. We publish an ads.txt file naming our advertising account; that file only declares who is authorised to sell ad space on this domain — it is not an ad, it sets nothing on your device and it collects nothing.
When we do switch advertising on, this is what will change, and we are telling you now rather than afterwards:
- Ads will be served by Google, who will act as a third party and will collect information such as your IP address, device and browser information, and cookies or similar identifiers.
- Where the law requires it — the EEA, the UK and Switzerland — you will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent platform before any non-essential cookie is set, and you will be able to change that choice later.
- ⚠️ If you decline, you may see non-personalised ads or, in some regions, no ads at all.Which of those happens is determined by Google and varies by region. We are not going to promise you the gentler outcome, because we do not control it.
- What stays on your device stays on your device either way. Advertising does not change section 3.
This section will move from the future tense to the present tense in the same change that enables advertising — not before it, which would describe something untrue, and not after, which would make the disclosure late.
7. Legal bases, if you are in the EEA or the UK
- Serving the site and keeping it secure — our legitimate interest in delivering a working, non-abused website. This covers the host logs in section 5.
- Advertising, once enabled — your consent, collected through the certified consent platform and withdrawable at any time.
8. Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete — and we would rather say that plainly than imply we operate a rights process we do not have. In practice:
- Everything saved on your device is yours to delete: clear this site’s data in your browser.
- Host logs are held by Cloudflare under its own policy; write to us and we will point you to the right place.
- Advertising data, once ads are live, is held by Google under its own policy, and your consent choices can be changed at any time through the consent control.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights of access, deletion, correction, portability and objection. Write to[email protected] and we will respond.
9. Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and once advertising is enabled we will not permit personalised advertising to be served to them.
10. International transfers
We operate from Singapore, and the services that deliver this site are global. Cloudflare serves the site from data centres worldwide, and — once advertising is enabled — Google will process advertising data across its own infrastructure. Information may therefore be processed outside the country you are in, under each provider’s own transfer arrangements and privacy policy.
11. Changes to this policy
If what we do changes — in particular if we enable advertising or add analytics — we will update this page and its date on or before the change takes effect, not after. Substantive changes are also recorded on the changelog.
12. Contact
[email protected]. How the site’s answers are tested is on accuracy; where its data comes from is onsources.
